The three year framework will see a continuation of our provision of consultancy services to The Highland Council with whom we have been working closely since our appointment to the previous framework in 2010. Over the past four years, ERS has provided support to the Council for the assessment of over 50 potentially contaminated sites, two thirds of which were assessed under Part IIA of the EPA (1990) and a third were assessed under Planning or were considered to be brought back into productive use via the Vacant and Derelict Land Fund (VDLF).
JP Renaud, who leads our team of consultants, explained “We are delighted to have been selected once more as the preferred supplier by The Highland Council. Since 2010 we have worked closely with the Council’s Contaminated Land Team to deliver bespoke support on a range of contaminated land and environmental issues, including site investigation, risk assessment, ground remediation, waste management and invasive weed treatment. We are looking forward to build on this relationship and continue to deliver a high quality service to the Highland region”.
