We're Fundraising in Memory of Gemma

ERS staff are hoping to raise £2,000 to support Anaphylaxis UK and Dogs Trust in memory of Gemma (Lowrie) McDonagh

On Saturday the 14th of September, ERS staff will be undertaking a sponsored walk in memory of our friend and colleague Gemma (Lowrie) McDonagh, who sadly passed away suddenly in November 2023. Gemma was much loved and respected by both her ERS work colleagues and clients alike and to lose her so young has been heartbreaking for us all.

Last year we carried out a sponsored walk around Loch Katrine, starting at Trossachs Pier and walking the 13 miles around the Loch to Stronachlachar, before taking the Sir Walter Scott Steamship back to Trossachs Pier. Gemma enjoyed this walk and the boat trip so much that we have decided there is no better route for us to take in her memory for this years fundraiser.

Our goal is to raise funds to support Anaphylaxis UK with their important work, supporting those with serious allergies and offering evidence-based information for individuals and their families, for businesses and for schools and other places of education. We also hope to work with the charity to help raise awareness around the dangers of using vaping devices for allergy sufferers. Some of the funds will also be donated to Dogs Trust UK, a charity that was close to Gemma’s heart as an animal lover.

We would really appreciate any support you can give to help us achieve this. Your donation can really help us smash this goal and make a difference.
